NORTH ADAMS — The timing couldn’t have been better for the Massachusetts College of the Liberal Arts.
The day after Martin Luther King Jr. Day and on the heels of a bitter exchange between President-elect Donald Trump and civil rights icon Rep. John Lewis, MCLA announced that Lewis would be the keynote speaker at the college’s commencement exercises May 13. In addition, two other guests will receive honorary degrees.
