NORTH ADAMS — More than 3,500 people poured into the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art to enjoy everything the sprawling, downtown museum had to offer during its annual Free Day.
One of these 3,500 people was Jessica Coles. Coles is a Troy, New York native. It was her first time at Mass MoCA.
“This place is amazing,” Coles said, strolling through Sarah Crowner’s “Beetle in the Leaves” exhibit, a bold collection of paintings and tile works that focuses on abstraction. “I wanted to come here anyway, and then I saw the Free Day event on Facebook and knew I had to go.”
