WESTMINSTER — Tanner Hill had an issue with how he finished out the regular season.
Despite finishing atop the All-Berkshire standings with a perfect score, he knew he had left something out there with a DNF in the season’s final race. Though the scorers throw out each skier’s worst finish, the sophomore still knew it was there.
So, in his very next high school competition, it was all-out to make up for that blemish with a strong result. That next race was the 2017 MIAA State Alpine Championships at Wachusett Mountain and the result: a 39.10 slalom run that brought a state title to Wahconah Regional High School.
